My beautiful Ellaroo wrap has arrived! It’s so pretty, I love it & Indigo’s aldready asleep in it!
We tried a back carry earlier, nearly got it right. Little Dude decided to throw up on my neck though! Thankfully it didn’t get on my ellaroo, I wonder if baby puke is good for hair???
Will post pics as soon as I get some, am doing a huge laundry wash today though so you’ll have to wait

Health visitor: He’s 15lbs, very good. Still breastfeeding?
Me: Yes, of course I am.
HV: That’s great! (pats me on back) Keep up the good work!
Me: Um, ok, thanks.
Seems innocent doesn’t it?
Then why am I feeling like they’re expecting me to give up breastfeeding at any given moment?! I could understand it if I’d been in two minds about it or having problems or threatened to give up but I haven’t! I’ve gotten through two or three bouts of pain due to bad latch episodes without any help, dealt with engorged boobs easily. Thankfully it’s just natural to me and I’d like to be treated as though it’s not abnormal, even in this formula-loving society!
And I feel strange getting praised for feeding my son!

Little Dude is staring at the paw tattoos on my arm & trying pick & lick them off!
They kept him occupied for a few minutes in the car seat yesterday, so you see - tattoos are great!
I’ve been feeling guilty about something lately… Indigo likes to watch kids tv for about ten minutes before getting bored so I’ve been taking advantage of it by sitting him in front of the tv so I can quickly do some housework. I don’t want a baby who’s glued to the tv! *Must figure out how to do a backcarry with my new wrap that’s on its way!*
New Name
I’ve changed my blog name! (again!)
This one is more personal - I copy the way ‘Eleanor’ the tranvestite from one episode of The Mighty Boosh says hello and Indigo finds it hilarious for some reason.
So there you have it… I’ve yet to find time to make a new header so you’re stuck with what’s there for now

Indi’s First…
Proper laugh!
He’s been nearly chuckling all day yesterday & today when tickled him but just ten mins ago Jeff had Indi in his arms and was running at our cat Rory who was meowing. Indi actually laughed at Rory! It was so cute!
AND THEN! We had Indi ’standing’ on the kitchen counter and he walked! Well, ok, not walked exactly but stepped his feet out in turn as though he was walking!
That’s all I can write for now as he’s getting tired and cranky so off to bed we go!
Indi’s First…
Car boot sale! And my first time selling at one!
To those who might not know what a car boot sale is, it is like a yard sale but is usually held in a field with loads of other people selling their unwanted items from their car boot. Indigo barely cried while we were there, he slept for most of it (lucky little so and so - woke me up at 3.30 and I haven’t slept since!)
Anyway, I got rid of quite a few things and made £40! Yay! With that money I’m going to give half to Jeff (because half of what I sold was his) and the rest I shall buy fabric so I can start my Work At Home Mum business thing. I’m in the process of designing a baby carrier and would like to think of another craft I can make to sell but my head can’t think of anything else yet. Mum is going to teach me how to do alterations so I can earn a bit of money that way.
I’ve been having fun looking at website design and marketing ideas. My little WAHM business thing is called Patchouli Crafts - it’s a name I’ve used for over 5 years!
I doubt I’ll get much profit but a little is better than nothing at all.
