Everyday now I’m getting hits from search engines along the lines of ‘baby name Indigo’ or ‘meaning of name Indigo’.
I chose that name because I wanted one so individual and unique that my son would never come across anyone with the same name as his.
Haha!
I see now that baby #2 shall have to have a name so unique that no-one else would want to use it! Nah I’m joking, we’ve got girl names for next baby and they’re not too far out IMO, boys names still elude us though!
If you got to my blog after doing a search for ‘Indigo’ then please leave a comment on this entry and let me know why you like this name for your baby. Is it for a boy or girl name, or both like we thought? What other names have you thought of? Ooo and if it’s not too personal, how far along is your pregnancy and how is it going?
Can you tell I love names and pregnancy?!
I must dash, my Indigo is attempting to climb the chair I’m sat on!

LOL.. well I found your blog after searching ‘boys name indigo’
If we have a girl we plan on calling her Lucy but for our boy we are trying to decide between Indigo Marley or Marley Indigo.. I think both are beautiful and unique but we just can’t pick!
Hi thanks for your comment!
Nice name choices (
)
Lucy is very sweet (Lucy in the sky…) and Marley goes very well with Indigo, I’m sure you’ll figure it out in no time
LOL. I found this while doing a search for “Indigo baby name.” Don’t ask me why, but I’m thinking about my second baby at the mo, even though it’s hopefully at least two years away. I think Indigo is beautiful name if I have another girl. Love the color, and think it’s a lovely name. My first daughter has an usual name as well, and I get far more compliments than critiques on it.
My great aunt and uncle were twins.
His name was Indigo and hers was Violet.
A friend just had a baby a few days ago and her boy is named Indigo.
I love the name.
How cool! Your great-great (?) grandparents had great taste, as does your friend!
Thanks for your comment Marie
