I've left most of the forums I used to visit, I still visit Vegan Freaks (still waiting on your invite, the invite systems seems to be subject to the same lunar alignment laws as registration so no joy there yet!), I lurk in PPK and there's a new babywearing forum in Ireland which some of the AP-ish parents set up, so a load of us moved there. I just found that forums can put you in such a negative space, the day I read "If you have a decent monitor, there’s no need really to have the baby in your room” about a <B>newborn</b>, I knew that was that! That forum used to be quite good, but just before all of us "long term breastfeedering" folk moved, the first forum was getting a decidedly CIO-slant! For a while I completely banned the other sites, but then one of the other mums pointed out that we should all look in occasionally to help out new bfing mums as the threads on the breastfeeding boards were not getting answered or were getting answered with "give her a bottle" type answers. So now, I just visit the breastfeeding forums on the Irish sites, and the 3 others listed above and I'm much happier for it! Oops, what a ramble from me!
